We all know the basic yeast symptoms. You are surely familiar with the burning and itching, the unpleasant discharge and even sometimes the unpleasant smell. But are those the only yeast symptoms? This makes it clear that there are many yeast symptoms and signs that we normally miss. We do not always associate some of these symptoms with Candidiasis. On the other hand, it is very easy to misdiagnose yeast infection especially in females. So, always go for a thorough checkup before you embark on a natural way of treating your Candidiasis.
What is the best way to tackle a yeast infection?
On this the answer is very easy; a holistic approach is the only way you will ever get rid of your fungus infections for good. Many over the counter medicines can even make things worse in the long run. So, it will be well worth looking into possible natural ways of treating it.
Some basics that you can start with:
* Try and cut out all kinds of sugar
* Until you have it under control, do not eat or during anything containing yeast. The one important exception here is yoghurt. Yoghurt can actually help a lot as it contains "good" bacteria and yeast that actually helps with keeping the yeast under control
* Stay away from refined carbs; eat full grain carbs, rice and potatoes
* Eat as wide a variety of vegetables as possible
* Until you are better it is also best not to eat fruit as it contains a lot of sugar
* Avoid cheese as it tends to contain yeast
* Do not even touch anything that is moldy
* Use only white unscented soap
* Do not use any bubble bath and preferably only take showers as soaking in the bath can make things worse
* Wear only cotton underwear
* Do not stay in wet swimwear for a long period, change after your swim
* Do not wear any tight clothing, think breath-ability!
These are only a few of the things to start you off. If you have yeast symptoms and you do as above, things will greatly improve.
