System II Defend is a skin care system that you can use at home to restore your skin to its youthful appearance reversing the damage caused by exposure to the sun and wind.

It also works to prevent further damage from occurring. There are three main components in this system that come in a bag that you can take with you when you travel. When you purchase the full system you also get a bonus foaming cleanser.

Unless you have really sensitive skin, you will not have any problem with Serum 15, which is one of the components of the System II Defend. This product contains antioxidants that attack the free radicals in your skin causing the skin to look damaged and restore it to its former flawless state.

At the same time, it offers protection against future damage that can occur due to environmental elements and in this way helps to reverse the visible signs of aging. Skin that has been damaged by exposure to the sun tends to look older than it actually is and often requires a skin brightening system (http://www.vfhcinc.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=27) of some sort to fight the effects of the environment.

The serum in this product is also combined with ferulic acid and 15% Vitamin C, both of which enhance its antioxidant properties. You apply the serum once a day in the morning after you have cleansed and dried your face. Four or five drops are enough to use at one time, which you apply to your face, neck and chest that will be exposed to the sun.

Another essential component of the System II Defend is the Hydrating B5 gel. Vitamin B5 is known to help repair damaged tissue but there are other ingredients in this gel that help the skin feel younger and healthier.

The gel also contains hyaluronic acid, which is also present in the skin, to aid the skin in its work of binding moisture to the cells, this making the skin softer and smoother. You can use this gel as a moisturizing agent two or three times a day to any patches of dry skin. You do have to be careful to avoid the area around your eyes.

For protection against further sun damage, Skin System II Defend (http://www.vfhcinc.com/products.html) includes Daily Sun Defense SPF 20. This sunscreen is suited for all skin types and you can use it under makeup. It contains 5% transparent zinc oxide to protect your face from harmful UV rays.

You can apply this to your exposed skin in liberal amounts about 20 minutes before going outdoors. If you are out in the sun for any length of time you need to reapply it every few hours and as soon as you come out of the water when you go swimming.

The Foaming Cleanser is free when you purchase the Skin System II Defend. This product is suitable for all skin types and helps to cleanse the pores of oils and impurities that can cause acne or dark spots in the skin. After a treatment, you won’t believe how refreshed your skin feels.

You can also use this product to remove your makeup and to cleanse the skin before you use Serum 15. There is no fragrance to this cleanser and the ingredients will not cause any irritation of the skin like an acne care system might.

Use the cleanser twice a day by dispensing a small amount into your hands and massaging it gently on your face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. You will be so pleased with the results of the Skin System II Defend that you will never be without it again!
